Lion (2016)

Nothing to do with lions,  Lion is the heart-wrenching story of a young boy who gets lost in India, separated from his family, and ends up adopted by an Australian couple.

I don't want to give too much away, but I'd say the movie is fantastic. It's solid. It's memorable.

I love the little kid who plays Saroo.

Witnessing the hardship of life for many in India was emotionally hard, and a strong reminder of how blessed we are and how abundantly plenty we have, yet in our culture are more prone to complain and be dissatisfied often than the poorest of the poor.

This film is also based on a true story, which makes the story even more compelling and hard-hitting.

The way they did the camerawork, lighting, cutting, everything you see on screen is absolutely marvelously done and you definitely feel like you're in India and experiencing the life the characters are living. This was a very emotional journey.

I recommend this movie.
