Change Font for Battle.net

STARCRAFT/BATTLE.NET FONT UTILITY README
----------------------------------------

Battle.net allows for end users to customize the display font used in the
chat rooms and can use any available Windows font for displaying this text
on the screen. Please be aware that certain fonts look better than others,
and it is wise to pick a font that can be easily read. We have included
three .REG programs in this ZIP file that will automatically enter that font
into your registry. We especially like the Verdana font that comes with
IE 4.0, and have included a .REG program for it. If you do not have this
font, direct your browser to

http://www.microsoft.com/typography/downloads/verdan32.exe to get it.

If you should choose to use a different font than what is currently being
used or is provided in this ZIP file, you will need to make specific
modifications to your registry.

>>> Warning! <<<
Modifying values in the registry is recommended only for advanced users
and should not be attempted unless you feel completely comfortable with
changing system attributes. Blizzard Entertainment is not responsible
for any problems that may occur during the process of making changes to
your registry.

First, double-click on any of the .REG files to create a Font string value.
Then, to make your own Font changes, open the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Battle.net\Configuration

Modify the Font string value so that the new string is the name of the
font that you wish to use. Do not use the file name of the font, as
this is not what is recognized by Windows. (i.e., Times New Roman has
the file name of times.ttf, but you would enter Times New Roman in the
registry).

For a complete list of fonts that are already installed on your system, click
on the Start Menu, choose Settings, and then open the Control Panel. Finally,
double-click on the Fonts icon for the list of installed fonts.

If you attempt to use a font for Battle.net that you do not have installed, it
will revert to the Times New Roman font. If you then install the missing font
that you have specified for usage after changing the registry value, the font
will display properly.

The default font for Battle.net is Arial. If you experience any problems when
changing your Battle.net font and wish to restore the defaults, simply
double-click on the ARIAL.REG file located within this ZIP file to install it.
