I know Matty isn’t around anymore and his time at USA was brief, but I will continue to remember him in his beauty, his ferocity, his bravery, his humor, his never-give-up and never-back-down attitude. It was an absolute joy and delight to face him in 1s, to ally him in tournaments and other games (pre-USA), and just talk and laugh and enjoy this best of games we both loved. I’ll never forget you Matty and I’m thankful our paths crossed in W2. You added brightness and joy to my life and you’re like no other. I appreciate your friend Mad-Luster77 who plays USA with us and I really wish you were still here with us. I’m sorry for the ways I failed you. The memories live on.
