Fake Braviet Last Night: Usernames Will be First Come First Serve
Notice regarding usernames:
Some RU players have come to USA to claim other users' usernames.
If you want to prevent yours from being taken by another user, and possibly being impersonated like braviet was last night, you may want to claim the name for yourself. This is a new phenomenon and we haven't posted a written policy on it so far.
Warbux while he was promoting War2USA later admitted he took some 30 accounts. He has since been banned from USA server for repeated code violations after being warned. I have no issue giving any accounts he took to the user associated with that username for a limited time.
If someone takes a name on War2USA and plays on it for a year, and some obscure person from years ago shows up and says, "Hey, Phoenix was my aka back in 1995!", he will be out of luck.
Names will normally be first come first serve.
I am willing to do name restorations to accounts for well known names up til the 2 year anniversary of War2USA.
Requests for names to be returned or locked will be handled on a case by case basis.
