Prize: $75 USD if you beat the champion 3 games in a row

Map Pool:
Maps will be played in order. Should the maps all get used and there is still time and opponents are ready to do battle, it will begin again from the first map until time is up or opponents have all gone home crying.

Details:

Our Champion will play contestants in this order:

1. Pre-qualified, pre-registered contestants (maximum 4) are guaranteed a spot in line in the order they register in, provided they are present on Nov. 4th at 2:00 pm and in the absence of the unlikely event one of them wins 3 games in a row against our highly skilled, most versatile Champion.
2. Non pre-registered players showing up on Nov. 4th will enter the queue in the order they arrive and are not guaranteed a chance to play (although most likely will be able to) as the contest is on for a limited time and all the challengers will be playing the same Champion, one at a time. Those not playing will be permitted to watch the players that are playing when space permits.
3. A player will have one chance to play the Champion. If they win, they get to play again. If they lose, they go to the back of the line (and may or may not have another chance, depending on how many show up to fight).
4. The contest will end when a player defeats the Champion 3 games in a row, or 4:30 pm EST, whichever comes first, unless a contestant defeats the Champion in a game that is in progress that carries over past 4:30 pm. A game mini series in progress will be allowed to finish to victory or defeat.

Any player who wishes to play can show up on Nov. 4th at 2:00 pm EST to try for the prize, but only the first pre-registered player (maximum 4 total pre-registered) will be absolutely guaranteed a chance to play the Champion (since he could potentially win and thus end the contest), as it’s impossible to determine ahead of time how many challengers will appear on any given day and time.

3 of the 4 pre-registered challenger spots are reserved. Reserve your spot now to guarantee a chance to win or at the very least, to experience first hand the raw power and outrageous talent of a true pro Warcraft 2 top level player.

I am kind of enjoying my spot at the top of the ladder at War2USA though. I can’t help it. I was born amazing.

  25. Lol. You’re on the right track. It’s someone in the same category of amazingness as me. But if it were me, I’d have had to magically play myself and I have to admit I’m not *that* talented.

    As you can see in an above comment, it was someone who beat me with archers when I had lust and 5-6 rax pumping. So clearly a significantly superiorly W2-skilled player.

    But you’ve given me an idea. I just might make myself a Champion in the future so it’s a lil less scary. I can smell the fear all the way from here. 😉
